Attending Sunday school is obeying God’s word

“Obeying God’s word makes us better”

II Tim. 3:16-17

There are so many ways to obey God and there are so many ways to disobey God.

A lack of attending Sunday school and Bible class is disobeying God’s word.

Deut. 31:12, “Gather the people together, men and women and children and thy stranger that is within thy gates that they may hear and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your GOD and observe to do all the words of this law.”

Joel 2:16, “Gather the people sanctify the congregation assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breast; let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber and the bride out of her closet.”

Matt. 28:20, “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world, Amen.”

II. Tim. 2:15, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

The school of hermeneutics teaches that if a particular topic is mentioned repeatedly, it is something that God really intends for us to do.

God is serious about Sunday school being the focus of the New Testament church.

Sunday school is where God’s authoritative voice speaks louder and clearer, enabling the hearer to live the best life.

God speaks to us through His word for our good and His glory!
