Obeying God’s commandment to let our light shine

Matthew 5:14-16

Living the best life in Christ through obeying God’s word.

God’s command us to obey Him because He has given us what we need to obey.

We need HIM to live in us, and he empowers us to overcome the flesh, the world, and Satan.

Becoming like Christ to put on the character of Christ.

God gives instructions and assignments in the sermon on the mount Matthew 5th chapter through the 7th chapter

The assignment to the saved is we are to show Christ to the world.

God left His church in the world that the world might know him through His church.

The Christian life is not a private relationship with God; we are to share Christ who lives in us to all who sees us.

Living the best life in Christ is obeying God’s word to let our light so shine in the darkness.

A light house is no good to a ship lost in the Ocean unless the light is shining.

A light cannot draw unless it is shining bright, and the darker the night the brighter the light.

Listen it is not God’s will to be quiet and inactive when it comes to being the New Testament church.

God reminds us and command us, ye are the light of the world.
