Obeying the hard things to receive the good things

2nd Kings 5:1-14

I have learned that everything that is worth anything cost.

The same thing is true with living the best life in Christ, our way is not the way, only living life God’s way results in living well, physically, emotionally, mentally, financially, and spiritually.

To be physically fit, requires some hard choices about food and consistent exercise.

God knows what we need better than we know.

The Bible is full of hard commandment for us human being to obey, but God knows best.

Jesus was teaching and the crowd left from following Him and his disciples said, that is a hard saying. Jesus said will you leave too and Peter said we have nowhere else to go.

My brothers and sisters the only way our lives are going to be better is through obeying God’s commandment.

There is a person in our lesson who seemingly has a good life in the view of this world, but it is not the best life.

He has a problem that only God can fix and he is not willing to do what God says to do to fix it.

Some of us are in the same boat, we are struggling in life living life based on what we feel is right.

On the other side of obedience is the blessing of living the best life.

Our ancestors would say serving the Lord will pay off after a while.

But I believe obeying God’s word will pay off now!
