Becoming like Christ is family matter
Deut. 31:12
God’s will to become like Christ is not just a New Testament teaching, but the entire Bible is consistent with God’s plan for humanity
God made Adam and Eve in his image and likeness. God breathed spirit into their bodies so they could become like HIM.
God called Moses from a burning bush and sent Moses to bring his people out of Egypt to worship him, which would make them like HIM.
The commandment to become like Christ is a family matter
Deut. 31:12, “Gather the people together, men and women, and children and thy stranger that is within thy gates that they may hear and that they may learn and fear the LORD your God and observe to do all the words of this law.”
III. The family is to worship together to become like Christ.
