The more time spent with God, the more we are like Christ

Genesis 5:21-24

The law of association, or the law of proximity, suggests spending time with others can influence your thought, behavior, and even personality. That’s psychology, but it’s true.

The bible, God's message to saved people, hang out with me and I will make your life better.

Jesus says, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” (Matt. 11: 28-29).

Intimate fellowship with God makes us like Jesus, morally and spiritually.

Enoch walked with God to the extent that he started looking like God, morally, spiritually. His character reflected the character of Christ; therefore, God took him home with Him.

Who you spend time with matters; you will influence or be influenced.

If you hang out with chickens, you will spend time picking in the dirt, but if you hang out with eagles, you will soar high in the sky.

Our theme for 2025, “God’s will is to become like Christ in this life,” requires spending time with God.
